I can't say whether this DermGlee Bikini shaver is truly waterproof because I don't typically use shavers in the bath or shower, but I do like the way this shaver is designed. The shaver feels very ergonomic in design and feels good in one's hand: it is shaped to fit well in one's grip, and is easy to hold securely while operating it.

I also appreciate the double-sided shaver design with a larger shaver to trim down or remove longer, coarser hair, making it perfect for the bikini or underarm area and with a small foil-style shaver on the other side to get a close shave in more delicate areas like the face. It does a solid job removing facial hair in places like the upper lip. Although the instructions focus largely on maintenance of the shaver rather than the actual use, the one-button design is relatively intuitive.

The device, which charges via USB, arrived at least partially charged, allowing me to start using it right away. Hitting the button the first time operates the larger side of the shaver and turns on the light for that side of the device. It's nice that a light is built in for those areas where it's not always easy to see what one is doing otherwise. Hitting the button a second time starts the foil shaver side, which also has a light, so if one is removing finer hair on the face, it is a bit easier to see those hairs that one might otherwise miss.

This is a pretty streamlined design without a lot of extra features (like a battery percentage indicator, for example, which would be nice). At this price point and based on the overall design, this is perhaps to be expected, but this shaver also has no storage bag included, and at this price point, I'd normally expect one. I think that based on the lack of a storage bag and simple, stripped-down design, I think it might be just a little over-priced, but to be fair, I do like the light quite a bit, so it's still got much to recommend it.
